Week 4.
Three more Competitors died this past week. Chitoge Kirisaki tried to take matters into her own hands only to be punished as a result while William Flemming and Archie both tried to take the Adjudicator up on his word and escape. Three more of you are gone, but there's no going back now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, another set of doors has opened up - this time at the end of the western corridor, leading up and toward the north. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it a reward for surviving another week. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week four of Trustfell! Don't forget to save your threads for coins and the activity check, and don't forget to submit this week's activity check and memory regains!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]

[IT WOULD BE KIND OF UNFORTUNATE IF YOU DIED?? Weird.]
Maybe you should sleep it off? That'd probably work, right?
[...hell if he knows t b h]
But what was it you wanted to talk about with uh... that.
no subject
Like, it's his usual curvy bullshit of lettering, but there's a certain neatness he's tried to achieve with his tired everything. Legible at least.]
It wouldn't be against the rules to do what Aligula did to me to our host, since it's non-lethal, though someone can certainly make it lethal if they really wanted to.
[... Not that anyone would, for their own safety.]
Chitoge thought there might have been something in his office that we could use to get out of here -- she hadn't gone in without a plan, exactly, though it was only a hope. Just as it's my hope that if poison works on him, perhaps other things do as well.
[Such as sleeping pills. Or something. He'll await Isaac's reaction with a less than eager look, but rest assured he is!!! quite eager!!!]

It definitely sounds like it would work. We know what the stakes are if we take a risk like that again, so we need to be certain it'll work. The Adjudicator clearly isn't human - do you think we'll be able to give him enough of this without him becoming suspicious? He probably won't accept food or drink made by any of us anymore.
[Isaac knows absolutely nothing about sleeping pills or poison, so he's a bit out of his element here.]

At the very least, it will slow him down, and a greater concentration of it may allow someone to incapacitate him somehow.
As for the method: Food and drink may not work, but what do you think of perfume?

[Points for creativity, holy shit.]

Of course. But even the most perfect plan can fall apart in the moment.
[Just a warning, simply showing it to Isaac this time before flipping to another new page and idly tapping his pencil on it.]
I'm more concerned if I'll be alright for the party tomorrow. I'd hate to do a dead man's float in the pool.
no subject
I promise I won't let you drown.
[He's content to move on though, so!]
no subject
Oh, really? You are too kind, Isaac, really. I'm overjoyed at how much you care.
[... There's such a distinct lack of energy and tease in that.]
no subject
You really do need to rest. Hopefully that'll wear off soon.
no subject
or do you prefer this ferid.]
I... think a good night's rest will do me well, yes. Though in all honesty I hadn't expected that to work on me...
[You learn something new every day.]
no subject
...but this is Weird]
They must be pretty powerful drugs, huh?
[maybe?? hell if he knows what ferid's deal is]
no subject
Maybe. [eh. this probably won't bite him in the ass.] No, I believe they're simply ones found in the infirmary, but...
[Well. He tilts his head to one side, resting on his hand after another moment.]
I suppose you might guess from my age that I'm not exactly human, wouldn't you? Much in the same way Aligula isn't human.
[But also Kind Of Different.]
That's why.
no subject
[he... he tried.........]
no subject
like most people would be suspicious of him and wondering what the hell he is, not taking "good genes" for an answer, but you guys are just
i guess there's more important things to wonder than about whatever the hell someone is, like not dying and stuff, but still you guys are just so. polite.]
And I appreciate it very much. If you have a favorite animal, or a pet from home, I'll make you a toy to order as thanks.
no subject
Oh, uh, I don't. Not really. You don't have to worry about that for me. But thanks for the offer.
no subject
[... He doesn't like not being on top of his game this is weird and he's going to get Aligula back, somehow.]
Did you need something from in here, by the way? Or are you staying to model for me?
no subject
[...that didn't answer both questions, hang on let him try to look less horrified.]
I uh... I was thinking of painting something. Like what Aligula was doing with the walls outside her room.
no subject
[Let him just... He'll collect some paint cans for you, Isaac. Don't worry.]
What are you thinking of painting?
no subject
[He doesn't look at Ferid when he says it, instead he's busy staring at all these brushes. Why are there so many??? Who needs so many different sizes of brushes??]
no subject
I'm sure they'll look beautiful. The one you have on your hand is, after all.
[its like. rly pleasing to the perfectionist's eye.]
no subject
Heh, thanks. I designed that one, so it's my favorite. Some of the other alchemists have interesting arrays, but I prefer a simple design that allows me a bit more flexibility in what I can do.
[but it is really beautiful?? like damn]
