Week 4.

WEEK 4 Three more Competitors died this past week. Chitoge Kirisaki tried to take matters into her own hands only to be punished as a result while William Flemming and Archie both tried to take the Adjudicator up on his word and escape. Three more of you are gone, but there's no going back now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, another set of doors has opened up - this time at the end of the western corridor, leading up and toward the north. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it a reward for surviving another week. COMPETITORS REMAINING: 23

Can't sleep, Isaac?

[ WELCOME TO THE NIGHT OWL CLUB. Members: Ferid, Isaac, Inigo. ]

Is it...?

[Huh. Oops. He'll follow the topic change easily enough though.]

Yeah. It's gotten a lot worse lately. I guess it's because of everything that's happened.

[And the memory dreams. Deeeeefinitely those too.]

I'm a night owl anyway so I'm not too bothered, but it's gotten worse for me too. Everything keeps happening every week. [ CAN WE CHILL WITH THE MURDERS FOR A WEEK, GUYS. Nevermind, that's expecting too much from this group. ]

[glaciates]

Yeah. I don't like the idea of it getting easier because that means we're getting used to something so horrible... but I'd like to be able to get some sleep.

[isaac's life is suffering]

Have you checked the greenhouse? Maybe there's something in there that will help you sleep.

[ ooor you can just check the infirmary but he is from the middle ages so he's used to herbal remedies. ]

[glaciates]

I don't really know much about stuff like that. Even if I did I'd be worried about overdoing it.

[if anyone is going to accidentally kill themselves, it's probably him, he has zero faith in himself too!!]

Valerian root is good for helping you sleep. Lemon balm, too. Have you tried chamomile tea?

[glaciates]

I'm not that fond of tea. But if it'll help, it's worth a shot.

[passional]

Shame the kitchen is closed at night, so you can't make tea right now. [ ... ] Want to play chess or something?

[ He has nothing better to do now that Isaac interrupted his dance practice, let's hang out and FTE. ]

[glaciates]

Yeah, that sounds good.

[FTEs are always the best way to go late at night. C'mon, Inigo, let's go to the game room!!]

[ To the game room we go so we can play some handwaved chess!! As usual, Inigo loses. ]

[Poor Inigo, he suffers so much.]

Threats aren't going to do much, you know. You should probably work on your game if you actually want to stand a chance.

[ Maybe if they keep playing he'll find a weakness he can exploit. ]

Sounds good to me.

[Well, Isaac's strategy usually involves sacrificing pieces for complicated setups so uh... there's that? Have fun!!]

[ More handwaved chess!! Incredible. This time Inigo will start a conversation while they play, though. ]

...Someone's definitely going to act on it. This isn't like the other two. Even if we don't know how much we can trust him, the Adjudicator doesn't have to try as hard with this one. Time's already against us and I'm sure some of us really will be forgotten if we don't return home soon.

[passional]

Yeah. I've no intention of acting on it because thinking about it gives me a headache, but somebody is going to end up dead.

[glaciates]

I'm not going to do anything either. I can see where it'd be bad for a lot of people, though. I'm not saying that killing someone is the right course of action here, but this... this is going to be tough.

[And someone's going to die. That's just how it goes.]
