Week 4.

WEEK 4 Three more Competitors died this past week. Chitoge Kirisaki tried to take matters into her own hands only to be punished as a result while William Flemming and Archie both tried to take the Adjudicator up on his word and escape. Three more of you are gone, but there's no going back now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, another set of doors has opened up - this time at the end of the western corridor, leading up and toward the north. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it a reward for surviving another week. COMPETITORS REMAINING: 23

What do you spend most of your time doing here? [ Since she's picked up a few hobbies herself. ]

I play chess, read, flirt with the girls... Sometimes I try my hand at cooking new things - learning how to use the kitchen is an interesting experience.

Really? Are you not used to using the appliances?

No. My world doesn't have things like refrigerators, and we cook over fire.

Really? Then all of the appliances here must have been confusing for you.

Yeah. I spent the first few days mostly eating bread and fruit until I asked Cilan to explain the kitchen for me... and I was both confused and amazed when I discovered the shower and that you can make hot water come out so easily.

[ HE SPENT LIKE THREE HOURS IN THE SHOWER THE FIRST TIME. ]

...I can help you with anything else you might still have trouble with. I'm sure you're still getting used to everything.

...Thank you, Kyouko. I think I have a decent grasp on most things in here by now, but I still run into new things. Or stuff I've never heard of comes up in conversation.

[ Like guns or blood transfusions. ]

There must be a lot of things you've never heard of, since most of us are from a relatively modern time.

Yeah. I'm... medieval? I think Mallick used that word, during the first trial. I'm not sure what exactly it means, though.

It's usually used to reference the period of time when people were ruled by a monarchy, and lords and knights are often the part people focus on in fiction.

What was the technology like during this time?

There wasn't really any technology. Not anything like what we have here.

Not even things like the printing press or the compass?

[fittedgloves]

Ah, yes there was the printing press and the compass. Although that was invented near the tail end of what we consider to be the Middle Ages.
