Week 6.
Only two died this week; it still feels strange, maybe, but with the deaths of Mozu and Yang Xiao Long, it's difficult to ignore that your numbers are lower. You're almost down to half of the group you started with. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... As before, another set of doors has opened up, this time branching off of the eastern corridor toward the north. Feel free to explore as much as you like; perhaps you've earned it. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY | SATURDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week six of Trustfell! Don't forget to save your threads for coins and the activity check, and don't forget to submit this week's activity check and memory regains!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]

What were you even doing that they'd need you there, though? I'm impressed, but... I'm noooot sure your superiors thought that through.
[SHE HAS A SMALL SUSPICION THAT PERHAPS... THE HEADS OF THE AMESTRIAN MILITARY WERE NOT ENTIRELY FORTHRIGHT ABOUT SOMETHING, HERE?
If only the guns that turn people to ice weren't discontinued, she'd just risk going home quick after they obviously all escape to stock him up with a bunch in case.]
no subject
I'm not sure either. I'm also not the kind of person who's cut out for war? I've seen people who are good at that kind of thing. I'm not one of them.
[Isaac McDougal confirmed for being Too Nice for war, alert the presses.]
But I guess every able-bodied alchemist was needed to end the war quickly, so...
no subject
Yeah, you're... you're a really nice person. So...
[NERVOUS "TRYING TO LOOK LIKE THAT WAS JUST A QUICK CHARACTER ASSESSMENT AND NOTHING MORE" SWEATING???]
I'm glad you made it out.
no subject
Yeah. I told Kimblee I would. I wasn't going to die there.
no subject
[LIKE HE HAS A REAL GOOD HEAD ON HIS SHOULDERS.
... Realtalk I just had a character say that Kimblee sounds nice I don't care that she's talking to the guy with a Thing for him and knows like nothing about him I'm going to go stand outside for a minute.]
no subject
Yeah. He's... Well, he's one of those people that's kinda screwed up enough to be good at war. He can keep his head under pressure and he does look out for people in his own way. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him. The last conversation we had in Ishval was about how I was the craziest person in the war; it was a compliment though.
...I need to talk to him once I get home. I don't remember if I ever did seek him out after the war or not.
[GOD ISAAC JUST ADMIT YOU'VE GOT IT BAD WHY DON'T YOU]
no subject
[LOOKS AT AXTON ACROSS DIMENSIONS...]
I hope you do, then. Unless he's still stationed in the desert, then maybe see if he can come meet you.
[GO FIGHT FOR YOUR LOVE, ISAAC!!! THAT NEVER GOES WRONG. And have yourself a dramatic 30s black and white movie romantic train reunion.]
no subject
[Which is war. He's really good at war. Kimblee's a little fucked up.
BUT BOY DOES ISAAC SEEM FOND OF THAT IDEA oh my god]
no subject
[And then in the same sort of furtive tone she used to tell him about space, because sorry Isaac but everyone is bi in her canon that's just how the Borderlands verse works AND LOVE IS ON HER MIND TODAY, SO...]
And if you like him in the kind of way that you want to bring him flowers or something, I'll help if you want.
no subject
[when will he realize that this is entirely his own doing??? never probably]
no subject
Uh... how vampire government works, mostly!
[She holds up her hands.]
I didn't mean to touch a nerve or anything, honest. I just want to help you if you need it.
no subject
I'm not... He's just a friend. He's not even a friend! We only knew each other for a short time, so...
[and you're still thinking about him this much seven years later???? isaac pls]
no subject
Well, I'll tell you what. If I can, I'll try to help you track him down again after this. I'm good at that. You choose the context.
[Which... is a more meaningful offer than it would be to a lot of people since that is most of? What she did for Jack???]
no subject
[That gets him to relax a bit, though he's still kind of pink.]
I hope it won't be too difficult to figure out where he is.
[spoilers: it's in prison WHERE HE BELONGS]
no subject
[Angel back home you have literal cybernetic implants to connect your brain to the space internet-]
Especially if he's high-up.
no subject
[COLONEL KIMBLEE I CAN'T FUCKING BREATHE]
I don't remember hearing anything about him in Central, but I'm still missing a lot of memories and I don't even know where I was for most of those seven years. But I'm sure we'll figure something out.
no subject
[General Kimblee. Seven promotions, maybe more. Imagine.]
At least he's not stuck in a game like this, right?
no subject
[ha. hahaha.]
no subject
[Kimblee for protag 2k16!!!]
But yeah, I can't think of... almost anyone I'd wish this on. And I wouldn't wish him on anyone else in a place like this.
no subject
Yeah, I understand that. There are some things you can't wish on anyone else.
[...unless everyone is equally horrible. just imagine it.]
no subject
Yeah, and being locked in a building with my dad is one of them.
[...]
no subject
...Are you alright?
[Talking about your dad probably doesn't get any easier...]
no subject
[!!! Idea.]
... I should take everyone out to eat with his money first, though. We can do it far enough away, if we can get some way to move freely around worlds, and I have total access to all his savings.
[She could literally just buy everyone here a steak that costs a million dollars he's a trillionaire it would barely be a blip on his credit card.]
no subject
[...though lbr, revenge is so sweet.]
no subject
I'm worried about a lot of things, but... I think I'll be able to move on. And of all the possibilities I could have expected to open up for me... that was never one of them before I came here. But if I can spend a few million of his dollars giving everyone here a good meal, I definitely want to.
