Week 5.
Another week has passed; another two people have died. Tsubasa Hanekawa and Nachetanya Loei Piena Augustra have joined the ranks of the deceased. Whatever you may have thought about them in the end, one thing hovers heavy over the group: the fact that neither their compassion nor their ambition was enough to keep them alive in here. Is yours? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... And of course, with another successful trial comes a new addition to the building, another corridor opening up on the west side of the building. The doors leading to it branch off of the hallways leading to the second and fourth sections of the building; have those doors always been there? You can't remember... It's a new week. Of course, that means you've been here for over a month, and your stay doesn't seem to be coming to a close yet. |

[OOC: Welcome to week five of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

What are you looking for?
no subject
I-I can find it on my own. Thank you, though.

[It's putting it mildly to say Rose looks spooked. She looks terrified; Rin tries to speak gently in response.]
You're frazzled. Why don't you sit and take a breather? If you tell me what it looks, I can search for it while you try to calm down.

[The words might not be too convincing given the tremor in her voice, the way she takes in a deep breath.]
A-A mop and a bucket.
no subject
I'll have it in a jiffy.
[Leaving Rose to collect herself with some dignity, Rin will make good on that promise. It probably only takes a minute or two, but she adds more time to the lock for Rose's sake by filling the bucket with soap and water.]
no subject
Thanks, Rin.

[She pauses, though, shaking her head.]
I-In any case, it's kind of a mess right now, so...

[There's no pressure in her voice. She's trying to help Rose open up, but only if she wants to, so she's using natural excuses. The bucket is heavy. I was going to stop by anyways. Though both of these are all truths.]
Remember those glasses you got from the vending machine a few weeks ago? I realized from the memory I received last night that they were mine all along.

[The last sentence is muttered, without the usual heart she'd give it, but it's sincere all the same. Rose nods to herself.]
When we get there, I can grab them really quick, then.
no subject
Alright. You lead the way then.
[Again no pressure, but she trusts the silence will get to Rose before it gets to her as they make their way over.]

Rin... Do you think the dreams we have on Sundays are really memories? I asked the Transmitter and she said they most likely were, but she couldn't be entirely certain.
no subject
[Rin mutters this as she walks.]
I'm 100% certain they're memories myself. Mine are... To put it simply, they're too detailed to be falsified, and explain one or two things for me that felt off when we first woke up here.
no subject
[She gives an uncertain nod.]
It makes sense, but...
[It's not something she want to believe.]

[That she shouldn't be afraid, that is.]

[But she doesn't elaborate more, shaking her head quickly.]
Sorry.

[She says it like a joke, to make her laugh, but she does hope it sticks with her. Memories shape the person, one way or another.]
no subject
...Sorry. I hope I didn't worry you. Y-You're right.

[A pause.]
Most people here are really nice. But - I don't think it's something I want to talk about.
