Week 2.
With the deaths of Sayaka Maizono and Mallick Scott the first week draws to a close. While you all have varying opinions on what happened and who was to blame, one thing's for sure: the Adjudicator isn't messing around. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; those massive double doors on the southern wall of the foyer have opened up, leading down another hallway and ending in what looks like another corridor to the west. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. Or perhaps for just playing the game. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Don't forget to save your threads for coins and the activity check, and don't forget to submit this week's activity check and memory regains!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]

[Isaac doesn't really look like the IV hookup kind of guy.]
It's good to have a room like this, though. If someone gets hurt, we can help them.
[And by we, she means Rideaux. And... Okay no, probably not Aligula.]
no subject
Yeah. It's... well, it's something at least.
[Getting his hopes up seems like a terrible idea right now.]
How are you doing?
[Right, right, that's a question he should ask, let him try to pull himself together a bit better.]
no subject
[Quiet and serious aren't really her thing, but neither is dealing with murder.]
no subject
[How the hell do you deal with something like this? He's still learning how to deal with killing because he was ordered to and killing because it's them or him and he needs to survive.]
...Sorry. Thinking about it like that isn't helping. Moving forward one day at a time is really all we can do right now.

[It's good to take things one day at a time and try to take it easy, but there's taking it easy and being helpless, and right now, she definitely feels the latter. And after what Sayaka did, who's to say who you can really trust?]
no subject
[Murder or wait until someone else does the murdering. Isaac shakes his head.]
I doubt any of us have any idea what to do right now. Escape doesn't seem possible, rescue's probably out of the question, so...
[So maybe murder would be appealing to some people.]
no subject
[Even if it really does seem like the only option to get out of here.]
And murdering everyone just to get out yourself is really wrong.

[...]
Twenty-seven other innocent people just to escape is cruel. Can anyone live with themselves after something like that?
[He's having a hard enough time dealing with the deaths he's been ordered to carry out in Ishval. He can't imagine anyone looking at a situation like this and being willing — and able — to carry that out.]
no subject
But she thinks for a moment, and shakes her head briefly.]
There's gonna be someone who can. Or at least someone who thinks they can.
no subject
[Well, people can be cruel. He's a soldier and he's had to take lives. It's terrifying to think that if he didn't know any of these people he might have been able to do something like that.]
no subject
[People have things to get back to! ...She might have things to get back to, but she's not sure if she could take a life to get there.]
no subject
[He certainly wouldn't be! He doesn't have alchemy here!!!]
no subject
[This place is pretty boring, to boot.]
no subject
Here's hoping we find a way out soon.
[He doesn't sound very hopeful about it though, but that was an Attempt.]
no subject
[...There really isn't a positive spin here.]
no subject
[Maybe the Adjudicator will let them go. But to get to that point, sacrifices are going to have to be made. There's no way the Adjudicator is going to let them go after only two deaths.
It's a really morbid thought and Isaac shakes his head.]
