Week 5.

WEEK 5 With the deaths of AZ, Brady Russell, McKenzie Mitchell, and Walter White, it's probably starting to feel less crowded around here, isn't it? But there isn't going to be a break from your situation - a new day in here should remind you of that. Two people were murdered in an attempt to escape and one had Juri's help to take his own life. How many more will die this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Checking the rules when you wake up will reveal that there's been a rule change; another reminder of things you've lost, and things you may have yet to lose. Of course, with the start of a new week, another set of doors has opened up - once again, they can be found in the western corridor, jutting downwards toward the south. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; after the weekend's trial, you probably deserve it. COMPETITORS REMAINING: 19

[andneversaydie]

[...Mozu... had been trying to figure out who this one picture was supposed to relate to, because she figured it had to be someone and the person looked familiar in some weird way. Then, when she gave it another look that morning, it suddenly clicked... so she figured she'd take it over to Flemming's picture on the memorial.]

Oh, hey, Inigo. You're the one who's been putting up the pictures?

[passional]

Aye. I asked the Adjudicator for copies of the profile pictures so I could add them to the memorial. The dead deserve to be remembered.

[andneversaydie]

...Yeah, they do.

[...there's a long, weighty pause. She remembers what Laslow said about his past, but... she's not entirely sure if she wants to bring that up.]

I'm kind of glad he isn't really bad about that kind of thing, you know?

[passional]

[ The pause earns her a curious look, but he won't ask. ]

Me too. [ ... ] Did he like your food?

I think he did, actually!

...

And he... made a stuffed kitty for me...?

...Really?

[andneversaydie]

Yeah. It wasn't super well made, but... it was kinda cute because of that? I felt so conflicted.

[ ...oh no. ]

Can I see it?

Oh, yeah, why not? It's in my room, so I'll go and get it.

[She starts off, though slowly to signify she doesn't mind him coming along with her.]

Alright, snookums. [ He'll be coming along, then. ]

Snookums?

[passional]

...Uh.

[ DID THE HECK UP please don't punch him mozu. ]

Couldn't you just... stick with buttercup? I mean, those are poisonous, but...

R-Right. My apologies, buttercup.

Well, no harm, no foul. Let's just go on.

[TO MOZU'S ROOM!]

[ TO MOZU'S ROOM! What are we looking at here. How ugly is the stuffed kitty. ]

[andneversaydie]

[Honestly it's not ugly, but it's a little janky. It's a very mildly lopsided brown cat with a white ribbon, and if anything the jankiness is a little bit charming.]

...see? Isn't it weirdly kind of cute?

[passional]

...It is, yes. It's oddly charming.

[andneversaydie]

... I really don't get that guy at all. I wish I knew what was actually up with him, you know?

[passional]

Yeah, me too. What is he thinking and why is he so affable for somebody running a murder game? I actually like talking to him, it's weird.

[andneversaydie]

I mean, it really sounds like he's working for someone, but why is he working for... whoever he's working for, anyway? It doesn't sound like he doesn't like it, but he also seems like he could be decent.

[passional]

Maybe because he finds it enjoyable? My father joined the army so he could kill lots of people, but off the battlefield he's nice and likes helping others.

Oh. Um. Yeah, maybe.

...My father is a bit of a mess.
