Week 5.
With the deaths of AZ, Brady Russell, McKenzie Mitchell, and Walter White, it's probably starting to feel less crowded around here, isn't it? But there isn't going to be a break from your situation - a new day in here should remind you of that. Two people were murdered in an attempt to escape and one had Juri's help to take his own life. How many more will die this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Checking the rules when you wake up will reveal that there's been a rule change; another reminder of things you've lost, and things you may have yet to lose. Of course, with the start of a new week, another set of doors has opened up - once again, they can be found in the western corridor, jutting downwards toward the south. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; after the weekend's trial, you probably deserve it. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week five of Trustfell! Don't forget to save your threads for coins and the activity check, and don't forget to submit this week's activity check and memory regains!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Adjudicator, you can do so here!]
TUESDAY
INCENTIVE.
Gather in the foyer in about ten minutes; I've got something to talk to you guys about today.
[...Or maybe not; calmed down though he may be, his speech is still pressured in a way that it usually isn't. Seems he's sort of interested in...something.
That said, though, it doesn't really matter whether you show up or not; he can be heard everywhere in this place anyway.]
It's good to see that you've been stepping up your game lately; I'm kind of expecting a backslide, though - you're all pretty interesting, you just don't seem like you want to use your full potential. Which is fine; how you guys choose to play the game is entirely up to you, I've said that from the beginning.
But if you guys do try to reset the status quo, I'm going to get bored with you eventually; it's not your fault, just kind of a hazard of the game - I can't force you to play. So you can live out your unified communal life, if that's what you want. You seem to have come together pretty well after the last trial, actually, I should probably be proud of you or something.
But if you do that...well, once your game ends, I've been promised a better one. One that involves your friends or family members, because I've been told they're all just as interesting as you are.
So it's probably in everyone's best interests to have you all keep up the good work. Unless you'd prefer handing over the people you care about in your place.
[And that, for the time being, is all.]

I feel like I should totally warn him against that? I'm pretty sure he'd hate the people I hang out with. Femt would deeeefinitely get on his nerves, all he does is complain all the time about everything...
[ thanks for this A+ insight, aligula. ]

laughs.]
Gods, please, do this. Force Cersei into this game. You'd be dead within hours. [this is maybe the first time ever he's had a positive thought about his wife SO THANKS JURI]
no subject
You...
[Goddamnit, Juri.]
...how do we get to who he's workin' for.
no subject
He lets out a dry laugh, however, trying not to look too shook up by this. ]
My father would have a good time here. He lives for death and bloodshed.

Kyouko doesn't stick around for too long, making her way back to her room once the announcement is over. ]

The only family Naoto has is her grandfather, and she...she can't picture him in a murdergame. What would he have that could interest the people who are higher in the murdergame hierarchy?
But her friends...now those are a different matter. All of them would be likely targets. Which one would be brought? One, two, all of them in different games?]
...
[Goddamnit]
no subject
Of course he wouldn't say which friends. He must want us to assume the worst case scenario.
[Judging by Jean's expression, she's already picturing it. But she tries her best to play it off...]
I should be grateful that my most interesting friends are also the toughest.
no subject
Think Relius would bore you, Juri. But if you do go through with it, be sure to ask about his wife!
no subject
But she's more confused than anything.]
I don't- would you just give a baby a knife? Would you grow bacteria to be human sized? How would that work?
(no subject)
no subject
Juri would be fucked. Every way but literally.
... Man, tough, she should probably focus on making sure everyone else is okay, so she doesn't leave? But she's hardly perturbed.]
no subject
[ His tone is said in a sarcastic manner, as if to probably make light of the motive. Although, this time, Yuri doesn't feel so sure in his own words. For some of the motives there was even the tiniest bit of doubt, despite Juri's capabilities. Yet, this...
...
Yeah he'll just casually move along now. ]
no subject
Yeah that. That bothers Luca a lot. As much as he dislikes Carmen, he absolutely would not condemn her to this place. And if anyone else he cared about ended up here...]
What, you're threatening to send us home in exchange for someone else?
no subject
There's no witty comment, no jokes, just some uncharacteristic silence, a small glare, and her wandering off.]
INVESTIGATION
In the foyer, she can be found fussing with the Pokeball that she just got from the vending machine. She doesn't really know what she's doing with it, but it doesn't take her long to figure out that the button on the front is important. She does let out a startled yelp when the ball springs open and... something pops out, but she recovers quickly and doesn't seem particularly afraid of it. ]
... How odd.
[ Regardless of how things end up with Sigilyph, Mahiru eventually makes her way to the shooting range. She's dragged one of the targets much closer to the western half of the room. Rather than a bow and arrow, she's making use of the set of throwing knives she got earlier. She's pretty good with them, too. Try to not get in her way.
Later, much later, she finally ventures into the billiards hall. Rather than making use of any of the games, however, she sets herself to the task of rummaging. Specifically, she's starting off by checking the table itself for any mysterious loose panels, or notes taped to the underside. ]
foyer
That's... isn't that a Sigilyph? [Cilan's Pansage, from where it's riding along on his shoulder is kind of staring in amazement too. What is one of those doing here?]

[He approaches, though it's only to take his place at another target and... well, he actually came here for the same reason, so he pulls several of the throwing knives from the vending machine from his uniform jacket and follows Mahiru's lead. He's not quite as accurate, but they all hit the target.]

His first stop when he finally leaves his room around lunchtime is the dining room where he proceeds to leave a bunch of useless items from the vending machine and a note.
Take whatever you want.
With that done, he'll head into the kitchen to make lunch, though he doesn't seem like he's focusing very well. Isaac's got his hair tied up as usual again, but that only lasts until he's done eating and then he'll let it back down.
Isaac tries to spend some time in the dojo, but he doesn't get any further than stretches before he gives up. He'll be in here for a little while though, just sort of staring off into space and occasionally messing with his hair.
The rest of the day will be spent in the pool because it really is his second home and at least he can sort of keep his focus there! He's going to swim so many laps!!!]

She spends some time in the greenhouse just relaxing and sitting down next to the plants. She was always comfortable in the city but a full month indoors is enough to make her crave some nature. Following that, she spends some time in the art room, just doing whatever comes to mind. Drawing goofy cartoons of each of her fellow prisoners, origami cranes. She even tries diving into pottery and clay stuff. Anything to pass the time.]

She is playing this game nonstop from breakfast until Juri's announcement. If she had known this kind of place existed, she probably would have requested it long before a pool!
After the announcement, she's milling about for a while, up until she sees Isaac's yard sale. That's right -- she has clothes she's not using! And the entertainment committee has organized a fashion show! With that, she starts asking around the dormitories to see who wants her extra articles of clothing. There's a very swanky looking outfit that's a little too small for most people here. There's also some white boots that may or may not have belonged to a certain idol, but who knows really?
In the evening, she's in the billiards hall, giving another game a try. What? No, not billiards. The dartboard! However, since she doesn't have anyone to play against, she's challenging herself with some trick shots instead. The harder they are, the further she gets from a perfect bullseye -- but on the other hand, considering the distance she's throwing from, it's pretty impressive that they're still landing on the board.]

After that, Katniss travels to the kitchen, where she's got a loaf of bread and, strangely, some spreadable cheese. She slices off hunks of bread and spreads cheese on them while she waits for her tea water to boil.
She makes her way to the arcade next, where she's trying to decide what to play. Eventually, she might poke around the Pacman game, or even Whack-a-Mole, which she's pretty good at. It's hitting things with a giant mallet, after all.
Finally, at the end of the night, Katniss is in her room. Her door's open a crack, and she's decided to spend some time reading a few books. She won't mind if anyone visits, just make sure to let her know someone's there. ]
