WEEK 5 With the deaths of AZ, Brady Russell, McKenzie Mitchell, and Walter White, it's probably starting to feel less crowded around here, isn't it? But there isn't going to be a break from your situation - a new day in here should remind you of that. Two people were murdered in an attempt to escape and one had Juri's help to take his own life. How many more will die this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Checking the rules when you wake up will reveal that there's been a rule change; another reminder of things you've lost, and things you may have yet to lose. Of course, with the start of a new week, another set of doors has opened up - once again, they can be found in the western corridor, jutting downwards toward the south. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; after the weekend's trial, you probably deserve it. COMPETITORS REMAINING: 19

It'd look nice on me, huh? [ He laughs at that and well now he has to. Terumi's really not shy at all as evidenced by his stripping in the trials, so with a shrug he takes off the orange jacket and puts it off to the side. Without it he really could pass for a government worker of a sort, even if his spiky electric green hair is jarring. He's come this far so he might as well complete the look so he puts the fedora on too, which has the effect of smoothing down his hair temporarily.

Man is this funny and he laughs again, before speaking in an intonation that's not his own: it's actually polite and smooth-sounding:]

My, my, is this what it feels like?

[glaciates]

...Huh.

[That's kind of weird. Okay, it's really weird, but it's also impressive? Look at you, Terumi, you could almost pass for normal!!]

Is that what Hazama sounds like?

He snickers and takes the hat off, though he still probably looks weird as he's without his orange jacket.]

Yeah, his job is with the NOL, the government-- in the intelligence division and all that so politeness blah, blah, blah. If I didn't know better, I'd say he likes it a bit too much....

[glaciates]

It's not really a bad thing to like your job too much, is it?

When you know the whole thing is a shit show I created? Yeah it is.

[It's said in the most "why are you like this" tone imaginable, but it almost sounds amused?]

So were you gonna just keep staring at the walls or did you want to actually do something in here?

A combination of things, I guess. This week's motive. Memories. Trying to piece together whatever the hell I was doing back home. That sort of thing.

[He shrugs, but he doesn't dwell on it.]

It'd probably be good to loosen up a bit, yeah?

Fine by me, knives in the jacket so you don't need to worry about that. [ He might as well not bother to put his jacket back on either for that matter.]

[SO AFTER A HANDWAVED FIGHT THAT WAS PROBABLY AWESOME (but not really, since isaac got his ass kicked)...]

...Sorry. I guess I'm still overthinking things.

[He's going to be so bruised but it'll be fiiiine. He's just disappointed that this wasn't a great fight because he's still Fucked Up over literally everything that's been happening.]

[ He throws his jacket back on with a shrug.]

[Terumi is probably the biggest concern, tbh.]

But if we screw up at one of those trials? There's no way I could kill the Adjudicator without my alchemy. Even then I'm not sure I could.

I'm worried we're not going to get out of here. So either we'll be stuck here forever or we'll all die here. And if he does grab our friends and family...

[Isaac sighs and looks away.]

It's stupid to worry so much about it, since there isn't anything I can do anyway.

Juri wouldn't be able to be killed in a normal way like that, he definitely has backup plans. [ A beat.]

And you really think someone is actually smart enough to get away with it? [ It's said in an even more mocking way than he usually says things. Terumi may be relatively quiet during trials, but that doesn't mean he's not watching and listening to everything going on.]

He can have Relius if he wants. Hazuma and Kazuma too-- hell they'd probably both get a kick out of it. [ I mean Terumi kind of is, and they're super similar.]

Eventually something will change-- he'd get bored before all of that.

[glaciates]

I'm not worried about someone being smart enough to get away with it. I'm worried about us being too stupid to solve it quickly enough or the Adjudicator deciding to call a vote early. We don't stand a chance if the latter happens. We're bound entirely by his stupid rules and...

[Ugh.]

Complaining about it isn't going to help. There's nothing I can do to change things. So I just have to deal with it. I know that. And I will.

[Because like hell if he's letting this defeat him.]

Speak for yourself. [ Well maybe it is a problem if everyone else is an idiot and votes the wrong way BUT Terumi is arrogant because he's Terumi so.

Then for a second he's actually 100% serious:]

Juri wants a show, and until he gets one he won't pull rule bullshit like that.

...He's already gotten one, though. That bullshit with Walter... he sounded way too interested in that. He was going to let Fern bleed out.

But it's possible that we've gotten his interest now and he's expecting something like that to happen again. So... we're probably safe this week.

[Since someone will obviously kill again.]

...Why wouldn't it be? Does he really expect more from us? None of us are as crazy as Walter.
