Week 2.

WEEK 2 With the deaths of Sayaka Maizono and Mallick Scott the first week draws to a close. While you all have varying opinions on what happened and who was to blame, one thing's for sure: the Adjudicator isn't messing around. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; those massive double doors on the southern wall of the foyer have opened up, leading down another hallway and ending in what looks like another corridor to the west. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. Or perhaps for just playing the game. COMPETITORS REMAINING: 28

I don't know just how many we have here, but I do know that there's at least a few different ones to choose from.

[And unless Jean needs a hand to help her get back down off the table, Cilan's going to pick back up the stuff he had been cleaning up from the dining hall.]

[Nope, she's all right. She hops down off the table, landing with a nice stomp on the floor. And dusts herself off, lightly.]

It does appear that, for the most part, we all come from very different places.

It's too bad we don't really have the room to do a lot of that here. I'm sure there's more than just you missing it, though I know Aymeric makes rounds around the floor.

Well, alright then. Not as hungry as you thought you were?

[ Hey it's the guy in the onesie who likes late night snacks. He'll give a friendly wave. ]

Now that you're here we can get the party started, though. Sound good?

Sorta. We've even talked to a few people about it already -- it's shaping up to look like closer to memories than just simple dreams.

So... it's something?

Oh hey, AZ. Good to see you here.

[ Really, he likes the guy, so he was hoping he'd show up. ]

I'm guessing you had the same kind of dream too? Something that felt too real to ignore?

[ Well, why not?

This is a place where he could die any day and it wasn't like some kinda super dark secret he'd want to hide or anything. ]

I learned that being a military dog didn't solve anything. There's nothing much to really elaborate on. Though, if you want I could try go into a little more detail I guess.

[ He'll shrug, but there's a serious look in his eyes now. ]

I also learned that those higher ranked than I and others I knew couldn't give a rat's ass about their own soldiers or the people they were supposed to protect, and that it was better to do things on my own then follow their word. So I threw it all away-- especially that uniform.

Before I came here I mostly got in trouble with the knights anyway, because most of their leadership still sucks and they can't take criticism, y'know?

[ It's more like breaking the law, but still. Details, details. ]

[ Shrug. ]

Like we're ever actually going to find that out.

[ ... He's excited about a fish thing. Okay. There are probably weirder things that people could be excited about.

At least she's made someone happy, wow. ]

So how's this fish th-- Stunfisk going to improve our lives here? [ ... ] It just looks like a fish, and no fish like I've ever seen.

[He kinda doubts that'll happen but] Thanks, Aligula. If I ever get a whole pile of useless stuff too, I'll probably appreciate it.

[And Brady...well, he takes note of where things are. He should...probably know how to do some of this himself a bit more...]

Uh, probably from chickens? That's what most eggs are from that people eat.

[ ... She doesn't want to think about that. But, honestly, he's probably right. Katniss is pretty agitated about the matter of the thing, though. ]

... I guess. But I don't get how he can mess with all our memories.

[flagitate]

Yeah. Really weird dreams.

You too? Or are you just here for the free food?

have killed a giant talking kidney stone and her kidney stone children.

[ Why does she continue to be surprised by anything Aligula says....

I'm not going down without a fight. Maybe that'll make it easier for you to find who did it.

Still gonna, bro. Oh, wait- did you need anything from here? [has he been holding him up]

Did she say if you guys... really knew each other? Like friends. [ Or... more, like her and Peeta. ]

[ Naoto's good with this stuff, and she's not really surprised. Detective, and all of that. ]
