Week 5.
Another week has passed; another two people have died. Tsubasa Hanekawa and Nachetanya Loei Piena Augustra have joined the ranks of the deceased. Whatever you may have thought about them in the end, one thing hovers heavy over the group: the fact that neither their compassion nor their ambition was enough to keep them alive in here. Is yours? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; the static blares out early on Sunday, but at least there are no bodies to find today - it seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... And of course, with another successful trial comes a new addition to the building, another corridor opening up on the west side of the building. The doors leading to it branch off of the hallways leading to the second and fourth sections of the building; have those doors always been there? You can't remember... It's a new week. Of course, that means you've been here for over a month, and your stay doesn't seem to be coming to a close yet. |

[OOC: Welcome to week five of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Transmitter, you can do so through text or the phone in your room!]

"Who..? Who am I? Who are you?"
"I am Aigis, and you...Your true name is--"
[ Maybe it wasn't too much of a surprise that Ryoji was quiet during the trial and absent from the after party, it hit everyone pretty hard after all. And given his views on romance and well, his current romance, it's possible that's what's bothering him. What's probably stranger is the fact that he's not around all day Sunday either, and while you can knock on his door he's not answering for anyone.
Late Sunday evening however, long after the night siren he can be found in the chapel though he doesn't linger here for long. Looks like he's not intent on praying or anything of the sort, but he seems to have a curiosity of the place. Where he settles for the night is the library, which he hasn't much frequented before either. He mostly came here assuming it would be empty at this hour, but he's grabbed a book for the sake of something to read-- looks to be one on mythology. ]
Library
Mythology, I see. Humans sure have a lot of folklore, stories, all that. Are you looking for something specific? I'm a treasure trove of knowledge, you know!
[Those last few words were said with a bit more force than usual]
But I didn't think you were interested in these things. That's unusual. Or maybe I'm wrong and you always were into reading. I don't know.
no subject
They do. Humans wonder about a lot of things: their reason for being, the meaning of life, the inevitably of death. They don't have those answers, so they invent them-- but who could blame them. [ He tilts his head to the side. ]
I felt like doing something different.
no subject
[The deeper meanings of mythology and the such are definitely away from Wheatley's understanding, that's for sure.
Still, even though Ryoji does seem the kind to do stuff around for a change, there may be a reason for that, and given what day this is, Wheatley only sees one possibility]
Did you remember something bad last night?
no subject
[ He considers for a moment, and his response comes as uncharacteristically cool, plainly stated. ]
I don't think bad is the right way to describe it. But I did remember something important, yes.

Haven't seen you all day.
[He looks a little tentative saying it, but his expression is definitely one of concern.]

I was...busy. A lot has happened these past few days, you know?
no subject
[Boy, does he. He sighs, falling silent.]
You want to talk about it? I doubt anyone's gonna bug us this time of day.
no subject
I remembered something important, it's put a lot of things into perspective for me. It's also the reason why I get along with you so well, I think.

However, seeing Ryoji there is almost a surprise. Less than a surprise as working out, but still one.]
You look preoccupied.
no subject
Not particularly. It's been a long time since I've read something, so I thought I might switch things up a bit.
no subject
[He nods to the book. It looks like a mythology book from his standpoint.]
no subject
[ The book has several tales, King Midas, Cupid, the Trojan War, Odysseus and so on. ]

The legends don't do them justice.
[Regarding the mythology he's reading; if he's still on the Greek mythology.]

A little late to be studying, isn't it? At the very least, it might be safer to do this in your room if you plan to continue reading.
no subject
[ The safety comment goes unanswered, purposely. ]
no subject
Studying doesn't always need to be done for school; sometimes, simply desiring knowledge is enough. But if that's the case, were you always curious about Greek mythology, then?
